I wish I were delivering happier news heading into the weekend, but unfortunately, we fell short of our August fundraising goal.

It’s not great, but there is a silver lining:

September is the final month of the fundraising quarter, which means this month has the highest stakes we’ve faced in this campaign yet.

I know we’re capable of bouncing back, which means we have to pull together, boost our fundraising numbers, and show just how resilient this grassroots movement is.

And if we do that, nobody will even remember we fell short in August.

To reach the voters we need to win, September HAS to be our biggest month yet, so I’m hoping you’ll help us start it off right. Will you please consider pitching in $25 to my Senate campaign so we can set the tone for the rest of the month?
