Locusts swarming East Africa - your help needed
As you read this, across East Africa, the worst outbreak of locusts in decades is growing. 25.5 million people in the region are already suffering from hunger and severe malnutrition, and if the locusts aren't contained, their population is likely to grow 500 times bigger by June - ruining the upcoming cropping season and making the hunger crisis even worse.

Thousands of people still impacted by the Muslim Ban
Three years ago, President Trump's discriminatory Muslim Ban changed the lives of thousands of people. Now, the decision by this administration to expand the list of countries on the original Muslim Ban list rubs salt in wounds that have been festering for the last three years. However, the House Judiciary Committee recently passed the No Ban Act, bringing us one step closer to repealing this hateful policy.

Gifted student gets a chance to stay in school
Shamshad Bibi always knew her youngest daughter, Tooba Sharif, was a gifted student. But when Tooba graduated from grade 5, the family realized she would not be able to study further because of the cost. Fortunately, Oxfam's partner in Pakistan was there to give her a scholarship.
