World Farm Animals Day is just a month away! So I wanted to drop you a note to let you know that two generous donors are doubling all gifts for the animals right now—and matching new monthly gifts for the first three months. With the Ending Agricultural Trade Suppression (EATS) Act looming on the horizon—threatening to shatter decades of progress for animals—it’s never been more essential that we muster up the strength to fight this bill, alongside our ongoing corporate work.

I just got out of a meeting with our Policy team, where I learned that the EATS Act threatens even more laws than I’d previously thought. According to a report from Harvard Law School, EATS could overturn more than 1,000 laws—including regulations on horse slaughter, force-fed foie gras, and more. So much is at stake right now.
