URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Stop Big Oil from drilling near a CEMETERY on public
lands! Act now!
[[link removed]]

Friend, the Department of Interior is poised to lease
HUNDREDS of acres of public lands in New Mexico and Oklahoma to Big Oil. If we
don’t stop the sale, these lands could be DESTROYED by fracking or oil drilling. The ground will SHAKE , terrified animals will SCATTER , and the natural landscapes will be STAINED with pollution!

One area included in the sale contains a cemetery! Big Oil belongs nowhere near our precious public lands, let alone the places
where our deceased family and friends rest. But there are only a FEW DAYS LEFT to before the comment period closes and we lose the opportunity to stop this
sale! Please, Friend, stop this lease sale in New Mexico and
Oklahoma before it’s too late! >>

[[link removed]]People living on or near public lands could face serious health impacts from
this lease sale. Fracking and oil drilling both produce toxic pollution that
endangers nearby communities. Some of the side effects that have been reported
include coughing fits, dizziness, nausea, and blistering headaches!

Fracking in particular only gets scarier the more you learn about it. In some
cases, it can TRIGGER EARTHQUAKES and the wastewater it produces can contain RADIOACTIVE WASTE that contaminates local drinking water!

It’s not too late, Friend – but we are running out of time. Your immediate action can help prevent fossil fuel destruction on our public
lands, including near a cemetery! SEND A MESSAGE TO THE DOI: keep Big Oil off our public lands!
