Friends –
I always think a key part of the job for someone with the title “Representative” is to actually represent people – and that starts with listening.
Probably my favorite part of campaigning is going door-to-door through our district’s neighborhoods and meeting people in their homes (even when it’s 104 degrees outside). But it is especially fun for me when I have good company like Ben, my 15-year-old son, who joined me on a recent walk.

But the reality is that with well over half a million voters, we’re going to need to reach people not just at their doors, but on their TVs and mailboxes and laptops, too. And in one of the most competitive districts in the country, and the swing district of the swing state for the presidential election, that will be expensive.
September 30th is my second FEC deadline since getting in this race. After the deadline, our fundraising numbers will be released to the public. Everyone from reporters to GOP operatives will be able to see how much we raised (and from how many supporters), so it’s essential we show we can sustain our momentum.
If you’re with me in the fight to flip AZ-01 blue, will you consider making a donation to my people-powered campaign? Even $3, $33, or more can make a huge difference as we get closer to our FEC deadline.

I hope you and your family enjoy a wonderful Labor Day weekend!
