Using seasonal cues and their remarkable long-term memories, these great creatures travel vast distances in close-knit herds to find water and food throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Yet the Biden administration is twiddling its thumbs in protecting these awe-inspiring animals from trophy hunting. The administration still hasn't finalized rules — which it said were needed last fall — to conserve the species.

Speak up for elephants in Africa today.

In 2020 President Biden said he supported banning the import of sport-hunted elephant trophies. We do too. But in the absence of a full ban, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service must stop allowing the import of sport-hunted elephant trophies until new rules are in effect.

Tell the Service to halt imports until a new rule is finalized to ensure the conservation of these creatures — and that you support a full ban on trophy imports.
