Hi John,

I have worked with all of you to stand up and fight voter suppression and fight for the rights of our people and democracy to thrive.

Every day we are seeing why standing up matters so much as we watch an extremist Supreme Court guts our rights, racial gerrymandering disenfranchise voters, gun violence reach an all time high, abortion access stripped away and our climate reaching record-breaking temperatures. I know that hope can feel out of reach, but we know that when we fight and when we stand up, we make a difference.

Voters in Ohio made it clear that the vast majority of people believe that abortion should be legal. Scientists continue to discover new and innovative ways to fight climate change and protect our planet. President Biden and the Democrats passed historic legislation to reduce the cost of living for everyday families.

John, progress is happening, and that’s what gives me hope - this community .
