John, the right to vote is precious, almost sacred.

But across the country, Republicans are launching a coordinated attack on the right to vote – and too many Americans face discrimination as they go to exercise this most precious right.

Just this year, seven states enacted 10 laws making it harder to vote. Florida created a police force to brutalize those seeking to exercise their most fundamental rights. North Carolina passed archaic and racist voter identification laws. Texas has even made it a crime to help voters cast a ballot.

Our democracy has never been under greater threat, John. But I know if we can build a true grassroots movement, we can defeat those who play political games with our democracy – and we can fix what they’ve broken.

So John, I’m humbly asking for your support. Can you split a $10 gift between my campaign and the Voter Protection Project to defeat anti-voting extremists and restore our democracy? Every dollar will go towards electing pro-democracy Democrats.
