Friends, something has been on my mind, so I’m sending this quick note and a final ask before you sign-off for the long weekend -

My opponent has made a few appearances on Fox News lately - giving him a platform to spread his anti-science, pro-Trump opinions more widely.

Let’s be clear: His policies and views are entirely too extreme for this district. He opposes abortion under all circumstances, wants to overturn marriage equality, and believes climate change is a hoax.

But it’s exactly this kind of free airtime for extremists in recent years that has propelled candidates like Trump to the top, regardless of whether their views reflect their constituents or not.

To make sure I’m prepared for next November — no matter how much free airtime my opponent gets — will you pitch in a few dollars to help build a strong re-election campaign?
