This week, we launched our Free and Fair Elections Fund — because of Georgia’s current most notorious voter-suppressing Republicans.

In case you missed what Brian Kemp and Brad Raffensperger have done to earn this reputation, let’s take a step back. In the past month, Raffensperger announced two massive efforts to remove over 191,000 “inactive” voters from the rolls in August and move 184,000 more to “inactive” in future elections — disproportionately targeting Black and brown voters. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg: Over the past several years, Kemp and Raffensperger have led efforts to strip power away from local elections officials, push dangerous claims of “election fraud,” and so much more.

We noticed you haven’t had a chance to donate yet, but it’s not too late! This fund, which will power Fair Fight’s ongoing efforts to mitigate Georgia Republicans’ voter suppression attempts, closes at midnight. And we still need 82 donations of any size to reach our goal of 500 donors. Hitting this target will power our ongoing efforts to ensure that voters are able to make their voices heard in future elections.
