In September, the House will reconvene after a summer recess. Instead of focusing on solving the issues that matter most to you, MAGA Republicans are preparing to advance a dangerous, partisan agenda. The House Freedom Caucus is leading another effort to shut down the federal government, and MAGA Republicans have made it clear that they are going to do everything they can to baselessly impeach President Biden.

Kevin McCarthy will most likely continue catering to the most extreme members of his caucus. That's unacceptable.

At every turn in their short time in the majority, House Republicans have shown that they are not fit to lead and nothing is off the table to push their agenda — no matter how reckless or dangerous it is for our country. From holding our debt ceiling hostage and nearly causing a default to attacking our service members' reproductive rights, and caving to the demands of the very worst of their party — they have caused enough damage. Come November 5, 2024, we must take back the majority.
