John – 2022was filled with challenges for children around the world. But through it all, supporters like you were there for children when it mattered most. You helped children in the face of historic flooding in Kentucky and Pakistan, the ongoing war in Ukraine and other conflicts across the globe, and countless other hardships.
Your generosity helps young people across the globe get the resources and care they need to not only survive, but thrive. One of these young people is 6-year-old Rakib,* who was reunited with his family after he went missing in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
It only took a moment for Rakib to wander off, but the search that followed seemed like a lifetime for his family. Fearing for their son lost in the vast settlement of Rohingya refugees, Rakib’s family reached out to Save the Children’s protection office for help. Soon, through a close-knit network of local partners and foster families, they were able to locate Rakib and reunite him with his family.
