In their response to our lawsuit, the White House argued that the First Amendment—freedom of the press—has no effect at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The Biden White House argued that the First Amendment doesn’t protect reporters in their briefing room, despite designating the briefing room as a forum for press.
