 Fellow American, It’s Senator Ted Cruz with a serious message for you today: Democrats are coming for me like they’ve never gone after anyone before; they want me gone. We cannot give them the satisfaction of defeating me, no matter what. I’m desperately in need of your help. I’m fighting a war on two fronts. In one battle theatre I’m fighting an opponent who has shown himself to be a fundraising JUGGERNAUT. In the first 36 hours after announcing his candidacy, he raised more than $2 million. If that weren’t enough, a relatively new super PAC calling itself “Lose Cruz” has made commitments to spend millions on “good old-fashioned attacks” to expose all my “deplorable actions and the consequences of them.” I need your help IMMEDIATELY. This is SERIOUS. We cannot win back the Senate majority without a win in Texas. Democrats are putting up a far-left candidate they think has enough wide-ranging appeal to beat me. What’s more, they’re putting their money where their mouth is. I don’t want to alarm you, but it’s critical we step up our fundraising game NOW. I’m going to need MILLIONS to defend myself from the never-ending attacks against me. Should we fail to rise to the occasion, I could very well lose this Senate seat.
