Right now, Texas legislators are preparing for a special session on education in the #TXLege. The reason? Governor Greg Abbott and his extremist cronies have decided to target and attack our public schools.

Their school voucher program would force taxpayers to foot the bill if parents decide to take their children out of public school. All at the expense of our public education.

If Abbott’s school voucher program passes, it will be lights out — on Texas public school football programs, music and arts education, and so much more.

That’s why we’re writing to you about supporting our campaign to protect Texas public education. Support for school vouchers is wavering — among Texas voters, and even among members of Abbott’s own Texas Republican party. And that’s thanks in part to Mothers Against Greg Abbott!

Our ad campaign against school vouchers has played a significant role in helping shape the narrative and convince lawmakers and Texas families that our public schools are worth fighting for. With the special session facing us, now everything is on the line; and we cannot fail to defend our public schools.
