It’s been one year since House Democrats passed the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) - a landmark bill that is lowering costs for working families and building a more equitable and sustainable future for America.
Thanks to the IRA, we are:
- Standing up to Big Pharma by allowing Medicare to negotiate lower prices for life-saving medications and capping the price of insulin at $35 a month.
- Helping South Jersey students succeed by providing affordable and accessible broadband internet to 22,000 local families.
- Making historic investments in clean and affordable energy that will lower costs for families, create jobs, and build a green energy future.
- Funding new small businesses that help our local economy thrive.
- Investing in our infrastructure to keep South Jersey moving.
