Dear John,
The dark-money organization “No Labels” has pledged to spend $70 million to support a third-party candidate in 2024 who could easily draw enough votes from President Biden to tip the presidential election to Donald Trump.
And now Politico is reporting that No Labels has brought on a major Trump donor as an adviser in the pivotal battleground state of Florida.
It’s becoming increasingly obvious that No Labels — which claims to be a centrist organization — is little more than a GOP front group aiming to help Trump win. We must act now to make sure voters know the truth about No Labels before they have a chance to spend tens of millions of dollars pitching themselves to potential Biden voters.
Will you make a donation to Inequality Media Civic Action to help educate the public, raise awareness about No Labels, and keep Donald Trump out of the White House?
Donald Trump would almost surely need a third-party candidate siphoning off votes from President Biden to win, because he’s never come close to having the support of a majority of the American people.
That’s why No Labels is so dangerous, and why we must make sure voters know the truth about them.
We’ve known for months that No Labels has been raising money from Republican megadonors like Harlan Crow, the right-wing billionaire who has been giving Clarence Thomas potentially millions of dollars in gifts and travel for years.
But bringing on a six-figure Trump donor as an adviser makes it clearer than ever: these people are all about reelecting Trump.
To stop them, we’re launching a major public education effort to make sure voters know the truth, including about President Biden’s successes on the economy, and to unmask No Labels as the GOP front group that they are. But we must act now, as most Americans still haven’t heard about No Labels.
Together we can reveal the truth behind No Labels and stop Trump. Will you make a donation to Inequality Media Civic Action to help get the truth out?
Thanks for joining with us in the fight for democracy,
Robert Reich
