Friend,

I’m going to make this one short and sweet: if you haven’t pitched in yet this year, now’s the time to do it.

This month, Donald Trump was indicted by a jury in Fulton County and he’s still on his way to completely barnstorming the GOP primary. He raised $9 million within hours of turning himself in. If you need any other sign the Trump machine is fully active and playing for keeps, that’s it.

His trial date starts the same time he will likely lock up the nomination in March. And the GOP debate proved that all of his so-called opponents are already pledging allegiance to him in the general election.

The fight to defeat Trump has already started and we need to move fast.

You know we’re already hitting the ground running with killer ads, a full-court press on social media, and the largest pro-democracy grassroots network in America.

And I’ve been talking with the team here at The Lincoln Project about the work we’ve got planned in Wisconsin, Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

Building a strong messaging apparatus to reach those swing voters is going to decide 2024. And we’re making plans right now about how we’re going to accomplish it. You saw the work we did in 2020 and 2022 and you know the vast amount of planning it takes to build out the infrastructure to beat MAGA and Trump.

That means we’re making our budgets now. We’re determining where our money is best spent, and which voters we need to target the most.

Pitching in right now makes those decisions that much easier. I know it’s August, and Election Day 2024 seems far off, but that mentality is what hands Trump an easy win. His campaign is hustling right now. We have to match that intensity. If you haven’t pitched in yet, I urge you to today. Together, we’re going to build the political movement that beats Trump for good.
