Dear John,
We have a lot to be proud of as Democrats. We're taking a bottom-up approach to solving our country's most pressing challenges. This year, Oregon Democrats passed abortion protections established under Roe vs Wade, made historic investments in rural infrastructure, and paved the way for once-in-a-generation funding for modern infrastructure and jobs by passing the CHIPS Act.
But Republicans turned their backs on everyday Oregonians.
Despite their attempts to sabotage the democratic process with their unpopular agenda, Democrats got the job done. At the national level, Bidenomics is taking hold. Inflation is down, jobs are up, and Democrats continue to make headway on critical issues despite Republican obstruction.
In short, John, elections have consequences. Today is the FINAL day for us to reach our summer fundraising goals.
