Membership: RENEW >> Deadline: MIDNIGHT Friend — midnight is a major fundraising deadline here at LCV… and right now, we’re still $4,747 away from our August goal. Meeting this goal matters. In just a few days, Congress will return from summer recess, and we’re anticipating a huge budget showdown right out of the gate. Republicans are pushing to eliminate the EPA’s environmental justice budget, zero out climate progress like the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, and remove the gray wolf from the endangered species list, among other attacks. With so much on the line, what happens next will depend on LCV supporters like you. The best thing you can do right now is renew your membership for just $5 before midnight. We can’t come up short here — we just can’t. We need to pull out all the stops to make sure that environmental protections aren’t on the chopping block. To be successful, we need to flood House and Senate offices with calls and letters. We need to hold meetings with key members and their staff. And we need to organize all over the country. To do all of this, we need your help — we’re counting on you, Friend. Can you confirm your status while there’s still time to make a difference?
