Over the last month and change, our whole team has reached out to ask you to help sustain GGWash.
We set a goal of welcoming 65 new recurring donors by August 31 to the GGWash Neighborhood. Today is the last day of that campaign, and I’m so pleased to share that you all have risen to the challenge.
69 people have already set up new recurring monthly or annual contributions, adding up to $470 in new monthly revenue for GGWash. Extrapolating out to twelve months and folding in the annual gifts, that’s $7,346 per year in new contributions. In addition, 11 people have made one-time gifts. We are so grateful!
Land use policy is the foundation upon which our whole region gets built – and through which people’s everyday lives are shaped in countless ways. But most traditional philanthropic institutions aren’t focused holistically on how land use, housing, and transportation all come together to shape our future.
That means your recurring gifts make much of our work possible. They’re flexible, meaning they cover important costs not covered by grants. They’re predictable, helping us to plan our work long term. They’re sustainable, because if one donor needs to end a $15/month contribution, we can absorb that change – and, even better, we can trust that one or two other people will step up in their place.
All of that is why, with just a few hours left in this campaign, I’m asking you to help us smash this fundraising goal! Please join our now-637 (!) sustaining supporters and become a recurring donor to GGWash.
