John, hitting our fundraising goals every month is critical to ensuring our team has the resources we need to win the most competitive 2024 gubernatorial race in the country and protect North Carolina.

National Republicans and their allies won’t make it easy for us. Top presidential candidates – including Donald Trump, Mike Pence, and Ron DeSantis – have already come to North Carolina to try to bolster their extreme candidates, like my opponent Mark Robinson.

National right wing-aligned dark money groups also have their eyes on North Carolina. One of them already reserved an estimated $4.5 MILLION in TV ads to go after North Carolina Democrats this cycle.

I know Democrats can win in North Carolina – I’ve won two statewide elections before. But it almost always comes down to the closest of margins. That’s how I know that hitting our monthly fundraising goals now is one of the most important things we can do to win next year.
