Emergency in South Sudan

Thousands escaping Sudan violence flee to UNHCR transit centre

Dear John,

South Sudanese families need your support. Will you help them?

A decade of brutal conflict – along with outbreaks of violence, natural disasters and food insecurity – has resulted in a full-blown humanitarian emergency in South Sudan.

To make matters worse, conflict in neighbouring Sudan has forced thousands of families to seek safety across the border. We desperately need funds to provide life-saving aid and protection.

As someone who has followed the work of UNHCR and our work to protect refugees and displaced people, we knew that you would want to know about this desperate situation.

It’s time to take action. Donate now to support people in South Sudan.

Your donation could enable us to distribute vital food, medicine and shelter. It could also help to provide protection for the women and children who make up 80% of all South Sudanese refugees.

Please support UNHCR and help us protect refugees and displaced people in South Sudan.

Thank you,
