As a proud member of BOTH SAG and WGA, I want to uplift my union buddies– the comedians, musicians, writers, and actors who have toured with AAF, donated their time and money, and have been fierce champions of abortion access and reproductive freedom!
And a special shoutout to those out on the picket lines centering abortion as you fight for a dignified wage.
You've had our backs, and we're sending a huge wave of support your way! 🙌

PERIOD! Without access to abortion care, pregnant people face fewer options when it comes to their work, education, and life choices.
Unions fight for workers to have autonomy over their lives– from more control over work schedules to a living wage– and an essential aspect of that is being able to make your own decisions about whether, when, and how you want to parent!
Before unions, pregnant workers were unfairly fired simply for being pregnant.
That’s where unions stepped in and said, “FUCK THAT! Worker protection means ALL WORKERS [[link removed].] .” And now, these same unions are still kicking ass and fighting for writers and actors not only for equitable wages, but for members to be able to travel for abortions when productions happen in states without abortion care.
So take a minute out of your long weekend to celebrate ALL workers– from striking writers & actors to clinic workers– and all laborers in between.
