Your vote holds the key to supporting the essential work we do for domestic workers across the nation, including these critical priorities for 2023:
* Build support for our National Domestic Workers Bill of Rights – federal legislation that ensures domestic workers are included in common workplace laws while creating new protections and stronger ways to enforce them.
* Ensure the ~$25 billion in Home and Community Based Services funding passed in the American Rescue Plan Act translates into permanent wage increases for care workers.
* Pass our New Jersey Bill of Rights, which would include basic legal rights for New Jersey's domestic workers, many of whom are experiencing wage theft, denial of breaks, and lack of sick leave, as well as continue the push for other municipal and state Bills of Rights.
A grant from CREDO would give us a huge boost in being able to achieve critical wins for these campaigns.
