These past weeks I’ve been overwhelmed by the love and support this Community has shown for this campaign.

I am proud of the race we ran, and even prouder that we received the highest number of votes in the Primary earlier this month.

But the work doesn’t stop here. With the November election fast approaching, and our first fundraising deadline for the general election Thursday, I need your support now more than ever.

From Day One I’ve been committed to showing up for this Community wherever it needs me, and defending our values every step of the way.

But this November, we’re facing a right-wing, science-denying extremist who, not only represents everything our Community is not about, but, if elected, would tip the San Diego Board of Supervisors in favor of a Republican majority.

We can not and will not let that happen.

I will fight with everything I’ve got to stand for our values, and make sure that the next representative for our district answers to the community they serve, not big money donors and their own delusional conspiracy theories.
