Friend — The Republicans are fighting with each other. And not just on the debate stage.
Top officials in the Republican Attorneys General Association are supporting a challenger to their sitting incumbent Attorney General in Missouri.
It’s true — RAGA’s Executive Director, as well as some of its top backers like Leonard Leo and Paul Singer, are funneling money to a primary opponent in Missouri, and pulling political strings to elevate his profile in the state. This is the same AG seat that Josh Hawley exploited for his political gain before he ran for the U.S. Senate.
While we’re currently laser-focused on flipping AG seats in Kentucky, Mississippi, and Louisiana this fall, you can bet that we’re coming for Missouri in 2024. And based on all the Republican infighting that’s already taking place, we’ve got a real shot at flipping the state blue next year.
This is just the beginning, and we’ve got lots to do to lay the groundwork for 2024 and beyond. Will you chip in any amount today to help us build the infrastructure for Democratic AG flips in 2023, 2024, and beyond? >>
