In this email, I’m going to ask you to make a donation toward our final end-of-month deadline before Super Tuesday. But first, I hope you’ll let me explain why your support is so crucial -- especially right now.

In exactly one week, ballots will be counted in CA-21. That's why my Republican opponent David Valdao has been ramping up the attacks against me. He also just got a major boost after Donald Trump visited our district to rally support from his far-right base.

Valadao is hoping to run away with a primary victory and march into the General Election with momentum. Right now, we are working overtime to turn out Democrats and defend my record from Valadao’s attacks. But we need your help to fully fund our efforts, so I have to ask:

We’re one week out. Will you make a $3 donation toward our end-of-month deadline? We need to raise an additional $60,000 to counter our opponent’s attacks.

Remember folks, Washington Republicans are desperate to notch a victory in California, and they think my district in the Central Valley is their best shot to do it.

It’s our job to remind voters that the Republicans’ agenda to destroy health care, gut Medicare, and attack our immigrants is no longer welcome here.
