This position represents Fleet Operations as a Customer Service Specialist 2 (CSS2) and will serve as a contact for external agencies. Some of the essential responsibilities include monitoring and tracking information regarding agency-leased vehicles and resolving customer complaints concerning Fleet Operations.
The selected incumbent will oversee the administration of short and long-term leases, including the daily management of DES Fleet Operations vehicles assigned to specific agency customers statewide; will conduct meeting/training with customers training them on DES Fleet policies, procedures, and guidelines. The employee will be expected to conduct research and analyses regarding customers' fleets, will input data, recommend vehicle types, and fleet composition based on customer requirements.
