Look what
we could be saving with Medicare for All.

A new study from Yale University found that over 68,000 lives and $450
billion would be saved under Medicare for All per year.

Opponents of the plan are laser-focused on spreading lies about how
single-payer health care would bankrupt the country — but this study is
yet another in a series of reports from across the ideological spectrum
that shows an OVERWHELMING consensus: Medicare for All would save money
and lives.

Despite this, the pharma and insurance industries continue to spend
millions on ads and lobbying to spread lies and sow doubt about Medicare
for All— it’s despicable. We have to fight back against this
misinformation, and that starts with getting corporate health care money
out of our politics.

The goal of the Patients Over Profits Campaign is to get elected officials
at every level from mayor to senator to pledge to reject any donations
over $200 from anyone affiliated with the corporate front group,
Partnership for America’s Health Care Future (PAHCF). They spent $143
million on lobbying in 2018 alone to buy votes against healthcare.^1
