I'm going to be short and candid: Our grassroots fundraising is down this month.

Now, some of this is expected because folks are on vacation in August, and Aruna and I have been focusing on meeting Marylanders around the state – doing the important work to move Maryland forward.

But even with those lowered expectations, we're still $4,193 short of our fundraising goal for this month.
