Hi, it’s Roland Gutierrez, the Democratic TX State Senator running for U.S. Senate against Ted Cruz.

This weekend, I told you that our finance team set a goal of raising $25,000 by midnight on August 31. That’s the amount we need to stay on track to build an operation large enough to swamp Ted Cruz and send him packing in 2024.

I believe in my heart that Texas is winnable. And after what happened in Uvalde and seeing the negligence that Ted Cruz brushed aside, I believe Texans have had enough of Cruz’s antics.

But Republicans have massive advantages in this state. They control the levers of government, and Cruz is a ruthless politician who won’t give up power easily.

With just a few hours to go, we’re about $7,500 short of our goal – so we need a late rush of grassroots supporters like you to step up and help us close the gap. Will you pitch in $25 or more before midnight to help us get there?
