LD38 Team Slams Biden Plan to
Bring Migrants to NJ

Challengers call on Lagana, Swain, and Tully to Condemn Further Strain on New Jersey Taxpayers
PARAMUS - Today, Micheline Attieh, Gail Horton, and Barry Wilkes, Candidates for New Jersey Legislative District 38, released the following statement in response to the Biden Administration's plan to house migrants from New York City at the Atlantic City International Airport:

“We are outraged that the President’s failure to secure the Southern Border has now resulted in migrants being sent to New Jersey under Joe Biden’s new plan. Not only will hard-working New Jerseyans have to pick up the tab for the flood of migrants coming from Mayor Eric Adams’ sanctuary city, but we are also already bearing the brunt of a fentanyl epidemic that is ravaging our communities. We call on Governor Murphy, Senator Lagana, and Assemblymembers Swain and Tully to immediately reject this dangerous plan and put New Jerseyans - not radical policies - first.” - Micheline Attieh, Gail Horton, and Barry Wilkes, Candidates for Legislative District 38

Legislative District 38 includes Bergenfield, Fair Lawn, Glen Rock, Hasbrouck Heights, Little Ferry, Lodi, Maywood, Moonachie, New Milford, Oradell, Paramus, River Edge, Rochelle Park, Saddle Brook, South Hackensack, and Teterboro. The district was recently named by national Republicans as a targeted race in the upcoming November elections.
