What that means:
* Last weekend for the Sinks Canyon State Park Visitor Center

* Rendezvous at Fort Bridger State Historic Site

We had a super great Women Who Hike Campout at South Pass City. Friday night, women were introduced to the site sitting on Main Street with a talk by superintendent Joe Ellis. CDT through-hiker Nikki Mann led us out on the trail and to the English Tunnel where we had a great tour. Sunday morning we were able to tour the Carissa before going on our way!

This weekend is Rendezvous!
Never heard of it? What?! Said to be the largest Mountain Man event in the country, this four day event draws tens of thousands of people at Fort Bridger State Historic Site.
Join Friday-Monday from 8:00-6:00. Entry is $5. I suggest bringing cash, wearing good shoes, and packing a water bottle! Peruse vendor row where you can find handmade soaps, beaded goods, leatherware, and so much more. Visit the museum and the Post Traders Store. It's like the fair -- but make it 1800s. Food and drinks are available too!

Is it bad if I say I'm most excited about the off-season? We knocked it out of the park this summer and this ranger is ready for a break!
