Here's what sets me apart: I am a mother and caretaker who has successfully made a career in a male-dominated field as an environmental and conservation lawyer.

I did it when we used Washington's Department of Natural Resources to build affordable housing on public land for the first time ever. Now, I'm ready to continue doing it as Washington's next Governor.

I've spent the last seven years on the ground working to understand our communities' needs and how to deliver. I've seen communities big and small, rural and urban, struggling with the same things – housing affordability, rising costs, the impacts of climate change, and a lack of mental health care. But, John, to get to the Governor's office, I need your help.
