Right now, we’re rallying support for the K ids Online Safety Act .
Why? Because the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) is the first step in addressing the negative impacts of Big Tech on our children’s well-being. Not only would KOSA hold social media platforms accountable, the bill would also address, among other things, the promotion of suicide and self-harm, cyberbullying, dangerous online challenges, eating disorders, addictive substances, and sexual exploitation.
This legislation has passed the Senate Commerce Committee, but we still have a long way to go – and we need your help. We need everyone to contact their Senators, whether it’s by sending a letter, calling their office, or posting on social media. KOSA will not only protect our kids from the dangers of social media – it will quite literally save lives.
Will you sign on today and send a message to your Senators that we want to pass the Kids Online Safety Act? [[link removed]] After signing on, you’ll be redirected to some links to urge your Senators to pass KOSA!
We must build as much grassroots support for this much-needed legislation as possible. Sign on today and contact your Senators to tell them to pass KOSA!
