Mississippi Business Visits

Taylor Machine Works and Taylor Defense Products are Mississippi companies dedicated to their customers, employees, and American-built equipment. I appreciate Lex Taylor and Phil Sprio for giving me an update on the impressive work they’re doing. I also visited with Fair Oil, which has been family owned for three generations. I appreciate that John and Johnny Fair and Bob Burchfield took time to discuss issues small businesses are facing. Lastly, thank you to the New York Blower Company in Philadelphia for allowing local leaders to gather and discuss how to improve our communities. I’m grateful for those dedicated to improving the lives of others.

I’m proud of our state’s strong business enterprise.  Recently, eighteen Mississippi businesses were ranked as some of the nation’s best employers by Forbes. Mississippi State University was #2 on the list of Mississippi employers, and Rankin County School District was # 17. Mississippi is a great place to live, worship, work, and raise a family, and I am honored to represent Mississippi’s Third Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
