I'm humbly reaching out with a request just for you: Will you chip in to my campaign before tomorrow's August fundraising deadline? I'll explain more in a moment. If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: Folks, I always knew I wanted to make a difference, but I didn't necessarily start out thinking I'd go into politics. Growing up, my parents taught me the value of hard work. My dad was a union lineman with the local utility company. My mom was a seamstress and an automobile tire factory worker. I worked my way through college, where I helped build a carbon fiber solar-powered car called the Sun Tiger, to earn a mechanical engineering degree. Then I started my career, working everywhere from the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque to a nonprofit that helped kids get outdoors, to the Albuquerque City Council and eventually the House and the Senate. I'm grateful I've found a way to make a difference and kept that work rooted in building a better future for New Mexicans. I hope you'll help me keep up my work in the Senate and protect our Democratic Majority from Republicans. If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: Thank you for your support today, Martin |
