Hi there,

New Jersey has the honor of hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup with our neighbors across the Hudson. I’m not taking this incredible privilege to serve as a host of the world’s biggest sporting event lightly.

Folks, the economic impact of having the World Cup in the region will be huge, but we’re not looking to stop hosting after the preliminary games. We are also fighting hard to secure the World Cup Final.

Having the World Cup Final at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, would put our state on the global stage, as over a billion people worldwide will be watching.
