Campaign Season is On!
Hi John,
As the sun sets on summer vacations at the Shore and kids go back to school, the Fall campaign season is kicking off! There are just 70 days until Election Day on Nov. 7, and we're organizing to win!
We were excited to provide a training workshop for candidates to get them ready to run. Candidates at the local, county and state level learned about telling their story and connecting with voters from Mary Knowles, a media strategist and TV producer.
They are starting to canvass through neighborhoods all across Morris County and could use your help! This year is forecast to be a low turnout election, so it's critical that we motivate our supporters to show up at the polls. Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, Chairwoman of the Gateway to Leadership PAC, is hosting her Second Annual event celebrating New Jersey Democratic Women Leaders and Candidates on Thursday, Sept. 7, at 6:30 p.m.
Join event Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman, First Lady Tammy Murphy, Senate President Nicholas P. Scutari, Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin, Majority Leader Teresa Ruiz, Chairman Leroy R. Jones Jr. and Jacqueline Jones, as well as our wonderful women chairs: Chairwoman Marie Blistan, Chairwoman Amalia Duarte, Chairwoman Zoe Heath, Chairwoman Janice Mironov, Chairwoman Arlene Quinones Perez, and Chairwoman Peg Schaffer.
This event, along with other events, initiatives, and ongoing fundraising allows Gateway To Leadership PAC to continue its work to support Democrats across the state, particularly our women Assembly and Senate candidates this November.
