John, tomorrow marks the end of August -- and with it, our end-of-month fundraising deadline.

It is hard to believe that summer is nearly over. So much has happened in our race to keep CA-47 blue over the past few critical months:
Joanna has been hitting the campaign trail hard! She has attended events, met with local organizations, and met hundreds of voters in this district. There is nothing more important than listening to the people that Joanna will represent in Congress.

Our campaign has received critical endorsements and gained serious momentum. EMILYs List, the leading national organization electing pro-choice women to office, endorsed Joanna -- along with dozens of elected officials and community leaders from across Orange County and in Congress.

CA-47 has made national headlines because of the importance of winning this district to take the House majority. Political experts have rated this “leans Democrat” because Democrats are coalescing around Joanna. CA-47 is the only competitive open seat in the state. National Republicans have already started to funnel money into this district to help our GOP opponent flip CA-47 red.
