Team, it's Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear. My election is just 69 days away, and I've been hitting the campaign trail to meet with voters and rally support for our movement. The energy on the ground is electric – but we know we can’t take anything for granted. Already, the GOP super PAC money is pouring in to prop up my opponent and Mitch McConnell’s protégé, Daniel Cameron.

My opponent and his allies have already announced they’re spending nearly $10 million on TV ads lying about my record. I’m going to need a huge surge in grassroots support to pull ahead in these final days. That's why I'm personally asking you to split a $3 donation before tomorrow at midnight between my campaign and the Democratic Governors Association. We're counting on your gift to hit the DGA’s $50,000 end-of-month goal and defend the progress we’ve made here in Kentucky and across the country.

Team, I'm proud of the victories we've accomplished during my first term in office. From expanding voting rights to defending health care access to growing our economy, I've fought to make life better for working families.

But right now my record is under attack. Daniel Cameron and the three super PACs propping him up have announced or spent nearly $10 million on TV ads. It’s clear they’re trying to buy this race and drown out my message.

We can’t let that happen.

In 2019, I won by less than 0.35% – that’s 5,136 votes. It was the closest gubernatorial election in the country in 2019 – and the second closest ever in Kentucky. We faced stiff competition that year. But this time around, we're going up against the entire force of the GOP establishment.

With just 69 days until the election, this is the worst possible time for us to fall short. Please, will you split a donation between the DGA and my campaign to keep our fundraising on track and help elect Democratic governors across the country? Right now all gifts to the DGA are being triple-matched dollar-for-dollar. We cannot afford to fall short or show any weakness during this crucial moment.
