John –

When things get crazy, I find it helpful to make lists of everything I have to get done, whether it be at home, the office, or out in the district. Since I find lists helpful, I figured maybe you do too. That’s why I wanted to share a short list of three reasons why I need your support right now:

1. Voting rights in North Carolina are at stake, and I’ll continue fighting for every eligible voter to have their voice heard. Voters should choose their representatives, not the other way around.

2. Women’s reproductive rights continue to be rolled back, and as a husband and a father, I can’t let this power grab by the far right continue. Not when it comes to women’s autonomy over their bodies, essential health care, and the future of my daughter and women across the country.

3. Reaching this fundraising goal sends the message that our campaign has momentum behind it. Bo Hines and the far right will do everything they can to unseat me. Reaching this goal and putting out strong numbers helps them know exactly how strong our movement is.

So, as I cross things off my to-do list, I hope you’ll add one thing to yours: donating to my campaign and the Voter Protection Project before tomorrow. Can you check it off right now with a $15 donation? ([link removed])
