We can’t stress enough how critical it is that we reach this goal, John.
When we miss our fundraising goals, fewer folks get registered to vote, fewer folks get access to polls, and our candidates lose out on the resources they need to compete. All of which means fewer Black Democrats are elected into office.
In 2023 – when voting rights and reproductive rights are being gutted by state legislatures and Kevin McCarthy and the House GOP are actively trying to strip millions of Americans of their healthcare access – it’s more important than ever that we hit our goals and help our candidates.
