Friend, here are the three things you need to know as the election cycle begins to ramp up: 

1. Once again, Senate control is at stake, and with election pundits calling this year's election map "brutal" for Democrats, we're facing nothing short of an uphill battle.

2. Far-right lawmakers in every level of our government are going after our most fundamental rights. Even the Supreme Court – initially created to uphold our Constitution – isn't exempt from the spread of far-right extremism.

3. I'm working day and night to help defend our razor-thin Senate majority, but right now, our fundraising numbers are way short of where we need to be for this month.

So I'm humbly asking, with the very fate of our democracy and our fight for progress on the line: Will you donate before my end-of-month fundraiser ends to help me defend New Mexico and the Senate from far-right extremism?
