If you read Maris’ email yesterday, you know that we have our eyes on Virginia, and if you take another look at that map above, it’s clear why. Virginia remains the only access point to abortion care in the Southeast, and if we don’t turn out millions of prochoice voters in November, we know that this access point is at risk.
But with your help, we can prevent the Republican governor and his allies from winning the State Senate or keeping their hold on the House of Delegates. Every $2 raised helps us reach a new prochoice voter and brings us one step closer to eventually protecting access to abortion rights in Virginia.

Virginia is the last remaining state in the Southeast without an abortion ban, as South Carolina's ban went into effect last week. Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin has said he’d
happily sign a ban if Republicans take the General Assembly this November.
Virginia is now a vital access point for millions of people, so we MUST protect access, not just for Virginians, but for patients across the South who are forced to travel for care.
That's why one of our top 2023 priorities is to register and engage new prochoice voters in Virginia — specifically young people and women of color.
John, we still need $5660 to close the gap in our budget by the 31st at midnight to register and turn out prochoice voters, produce a complete Virginia voter guide, and elect prochoice champions who will stop an abortion ban in its tracks.
