John,
As we continue to celebrate the Innocence Project’s 31st birthday, we’re reflecting on the past three decades of work we’ve done together — and this most recent decade has been a transformational one for the organization.
In the last ten years we’ve worked to pass policies focused on updating forensic science and eyewitness identification practices, we created our Exoneree Advisory Board, and Netflix released The Innocence Files, which told the stories of wrongfully convicted people and highlighted our work. And in 2020, amid racial tumult and growing calls for criminal justice reform, we made police accountability and reform a top priority.
See some of the highlights from the last ten years below, and then, in honor of our 31st year, make a donation to support our mission of continuing to transform the criminal legal system.
If we’ve learned anything from the last 31 years, it’s that things in this space are constantly evolving and if we want to keep pushing forward toward a more just system, then we need support from people like you.
So please, make a donation right now to help fund the innocence movement for decades to come.
Thank you for your support,
— The Innocence Project Team
