Friend, I've got to be honest with you: We've hit a bit of a summer fundraising slump, and now, we're falling dangerously short of our $20,000 August goal. With Senate control on the line, we really can't afford to fall short, so I took a look at our official records, and it looks like we're still missing your gift:

With your help before our critical deadline, I know we can make up the gap before it's too late – but without you, I just don't see how we'll pull through. So please, will you chip in $5 or more right now to help me beat this summer slump and help Democrats keep the Senate blue?

Friend, I can't help but worry about everything that's at stake in next year's elections, including reproductive choice, voting rights, health care for LGBTQ+ youth and our planet's future in the face of climate change. And then there's the orange elephant in the room – if Donald Trump does manage to win the White House (I know, I shudder to imagine it, too), our Democratic Senate majority will be an absolutely critical check on his power.

But Politico's calling it "the Senate map from hell" for Democrats, so I really mean it when I say we need your grassroots support, friend. If everyone on this team chipped in just $5, we'd hit our goal in minutes. But the truth is, not everyone will, so I'm personally asking you: Please, will you rush every dollar you can spare before midnight tomorrow to help defend our Democratic Senate majority and ensure we can keep fighting for critical progress?
