Whew, friend, we recently got some big news here in IL-06: My first GOP opponent has officially jumped into the race.

This changes the whole dynamic of our campaign.

Now, we’ll have someone watching our every move – waiting to see if we hit our monthly fundraising targets or fall short; checking our FEC reports for signs of weakness; and waiting for any opportunity to attack me and my team.

We can’t give my opponent the satisfaction of seeing us fail.
