John,
Throughout my career as a trauma surgeon, I have seen far too much preventable death and suffering due to firearms – and often with young children. 2021 was the second year in a row that firearms were the leading cause of death for our children and teens.
We must do better. That’s why I am running for Congress, answering the call to serve and champion bold action to end our gun violence epidemic. But I can’t do it alone.
Our August fundraising deadline is tomorrow, and I need your help so I can advocate for real change in Congress. Can you contribute $10 or anything you can right away to help get me there?
If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed immediately. |
John, when deciding to run for Congress, I knew I could have a greater impact on my community by repairing issues like this — not in the OR, but through public policy. With you by my side, we can make real change towards ending this epidemic and make history by electing the first Black physician to serve as a voting member in Congress.
Thank you,
Dr. Brian Williams
